One of my cherished childhood memories revolves around awakening to the delightful fragrance of coffee or tea brewing in the morning, lovingly prepared by my mother. The scent of cardamom acted like my own personal aromatic alarm clock, jolting my senses into action. My fondest connection to Yemeni tradition lies in a beverage called “Qishr,” crafted from coffee husks and infused with an array of spices. This drink, along with the diverse assortment of teas and coffees, has been a constant thread weaving through the tapestry of my life. Whether shared among friends and family or savored in solitude, it never fails to evoke a sense of camaraderie.

As the years passed, my passion for coffee and tea burgeoned in tandem with my personal growth. I developed a profound appreciation for the myriad of flavors and aromas inherent in these brewed delights. My journey led me to explore the intricacies of coffee bean roasting and tea leaf blending, with each region and culture offering a new source of inspiration. This thirst for knowledge has persisted to this day, as I continue to relish the opportunity to explore local coffee and tea establishments wherever I venture.

Whether ignited by the nostalgia of my formative years or driven by an insatiable curiosity, I began to experiment with roasting my own beans and crafting unique tea blends. Admittedly, my path was paved with failures, and many pounds of over-roasted beans bore witness to my learning curve. Yet, through unwavering determination, I mastered my skills, culminating in what I believe to be the perfect batch of coffee and the ultimate tea blend.

This journey is something that I want to share with the world. So tell everyone you know that “something is brewing” and AteaCo is hosting.
